Tips and Benefits of Turmeric for Skin Whitening



Turmeric has been shown to reduce the production of skin melanin. It also helps the sunburn skin back to normal more quickly. You can apply turmeric specifically on the skin and/or consume it. There are many ways to apply turmeric on your skin. Below are some simple methods.

Please note that turmeric will leave yellow stains on the skin. Here are some tips and benefits of turmeric for skin whitening.

15 Minutes Mask With Lemon Juice
Mix turmeric powder with cucumber juice or lemon juice to make a paste. Apply on the skin area. Leave on for fifteen minutes and then rinse. With daily use, skin pigmentation will evenly.

For Underarm Whitening
Combine 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of cucumber juice, less than half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to whiten black underarm, and it was really successful. Within 3 weeks of using it 4 times a week will make a significant difference.


Mask or Cream (with natural oils)
For more maintenance and durable, mix turmeric with natural oils to form a paste and apply the paste as a mask. You can leave this mask as long as you feel comfortable, not like lemon juice, this mask will not sting the skin. Some good natural oils that can be tested is pure olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil (castor oil is probably the best because it can penetrate deeper into the skin). This depends on your desire. You can make a thick paste (turmeric with a little more oil) or a mixture of liquid (a little turmeric, more oil).

By eating (eat or drink)
Eating turmeric is also very beneficial for the skin. Turmeric has strong antioxidant properties, protecting against environmental toxins, and has antibacterial properties, and here are some ways you can do:
·         Put it in the food (lots of food Indonesia / Asia that contain turmeric, curry for example).
·         Mix in hot water and drink.
·         In the form of supplements. To increase your body's absorption of turmeric.

Remember, that use natural methods like these require patience. Apply the use of these methods consistently for at least 1-2 months before deciding whether there is improvement or not. Keep in mind that the skin renews itself every 30 days or more.
